My latest obsessions

Here are some wonderful things I've been drooling over lately...ahh if only I had the money to buy them.
These fabulous shoes are from Shelly's of London. I found them at ModCloth.com.
I would love to rock these cute shoes with a cute 50's sun dress

This gorgeous vintage 1960's couture gown caught my eye as I was searching through Timeless Vixen Vintage on etsy.com. The deep fuchsia chiffon and beaded empire bodice make this beautiful gown red carpet ready.

These Frye boots are a cool twist on a closet staple. The basket weave design and rich caramel color add a little sass to the everyday .

And lastly, I have been feeling rather summery these last couple of days and nothing sings summer more than this butter yellow nail polish from Chanel...tres chic!

Fashion Frugalista

Hello world! So I have been snooping through some blogs and I came across whatiwore.tumblr.com. This blogger, also named Jessica, has made a career out of taking a picture of her fashionable self every day and I thought it was a pretty neat idea! So I decided to put MY own twist on the idea and thus creates : Fashion Frugalista! Every once and a while I will take a picture of an outfit I wore and will give you a breakdown of where I got it and how much it cost. It's all about being fashion forward on a dime!

So this outfit is an old stand-by of mine. Perfect for a slightly chilly spring day!

Trench Coat: Modcloth.com - $33
T-Shirt: Forever 21 - $6 on sale
Sweater: Thrift Store - $3
Leggings: Gift from my momma - free!
Boots: Gap Outlet - $20
Belt: Thrift Store - $1.50
Bag: Gabriel Brothers - $12

Also got to spend some time outside in the lovely weather memorizing lines and eating a healthy snack!

Loving the spring and this wonderful young man  :)

Oh where oh where has my little voice gone?

Now, I love a low, raspy voice just as much as the next person, but when that voice is the product of having laryngitis it doesn't make me a happy camper.

BUT it does give me a chance to lay low and have a nice lazy day at home. So I thought I'd find some very edgy yet very classy tattoos that I think are very beautiful :)

-- Here's hoping you have a wonderful weekend and hopefully I'll be back in action soon!

Hi.

Just thought I'd write a quick hello and give some fashion inspiration compliments of Mrs. Jackie O

“I have been through a lot and have suffered a great deal. But I have had lots of happy moments, as well. Every moment one lives is different from the other. The good, the bad, hardship, the joy, the tragedy, love, and happiness are all interwoven into one single, indescribable whole that is called life. You cannot separate the good from the bad. And perhaps there is no need to do so, either.” -Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis

tres chic!

It's so rare that I find jewelry I love enough to wear, let alone purchase. So when I stumbled upon the Etsy Store -- mylavaliere -- I couldn't believe how much I adored every piece of jewelry they had. So I thought I'd share a few of their pieces with you :)

It's the birds and the bees......get it?!

"I love you more than yesterday, less than tomorrow".

Oh, why should I have spring fever?

....Has Sprung! yahoo!!!

So to honor the wonderful spring weather I went to a fabric store for a little inspiration and low and behold I found the cutest fabric and decided to make a little decorative pillow.
When life gives you lemons...make a throw pillow!
I had so much fun with this project-- hopefully I will be making more in the future!

Welcome!

Welcome to the official "Say it Ain't Sew" blog :)

As some of you may know I run a little business entitled "Say it Ain't Sew." And while this blog will involve some of the wonderful things "SIAS" has to offer, it will also be a place to enjoy the beautiful and eclectic things life has to offer. So without further ado.....let's get crack-en
